• Parker was recommended to us by several friends and after touring several preschools, we knew without a doubt that they were our top choice. Our kiddo is slower to warm, and the attentiveness/experience of the teachers, emphasis on gentle/supported transitions, intimate child/play centered design of the space and small class size gave us a lot of confidence. We are over half way through our first year and the level of confidence and growth we have witnessed in our daughter is kind of mind blowing. She looks forward to school everyday, has become really good at voicing her needs, engaging with her peers and navigating new social dynamics and just generally feeling more courage and confidence with new people and settings. One thing that really stands out as parents is how accessible the teachers are. They are there to support our kid of course, but have also been there to lend us the support we needed as protective 1st time parents of a sensitive child. They check in with us anytime something noteworthy happens at school, whether it be sharing a proud moment of doing something new that was previously hard, a funny story she shared, or any tricky experience she may have navigated that day (like a fall, social interaction or big feelings after separation). One Fifty Parker is just such a special place and we feel insanely grateful to have landed here and will be SO sad when she completes her TK year.

  • 150 Parker is an incredibly special place. I have 2 wildly different kids, and it has fostered their growth while seeing them for who they are. The teachers care deeply about the kids, but also the parent community. I always have felt that my kids are safe at Parker - from all different perspectives (physical safety, social-emotional safety, etc.) Parker also helped us get into our first choice school for kindergarten.

  • Our family (two kids) went to Parker for six straight years and we had SUCH a wonderful experience! The teachers are absolutely incredible and have so many unique approaches to helping every student grow and learn and play in their own way. The school itself is simply magical, with plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces (including a mud kitchen!) to allow kids the space and freedom to roam and try different things. And don't even get me started on how amazing the Little Red School Bus is, which takes older students on various adventures in and around SF in the morning before the regular PM school day begins back at Parker itself. Parker is truly a gem, and our kids were well-prepared to start kindergarten when the time came. I feel so, so incredibly lucky that our family was able to be part of this amazing, supportive community for so long.

  • The Parker School is truly one of a kind! The attention and passion that goes into the program by the teachers, staff and parents is unparalleled. Every day our daughter comes home smiling and often doesn't want to leave because she is having so much fun. I couldn't be more thankful for this school and the community it provides - it is one of a kind!

  • We've had 2 children go through Parker and can't wait for our third to be old enough to attend. Parker was honestly the only preschool we looked at- there was simply nothing else that could top it. After our first tour we KNEW it was the right fit for our son, particularly due to the play-based and social-emotional components. Our sensitive little guy absolutely THRIVED during his preschool and TK years there and is now doing amazing in Kindergarten thanks to Parker's preparation. He loves school and has tons of friends- something we were worried about a few years ago. Our second child is a current Parker kid, with a totally different personality, and they've allowed her to shine as well. As a former educator myself, I can't stress enough how much we value the incredible teaching staff at Parker. They are warm, fun, collaborative and so skilled at what they do. We as parents always feel welcome to come hang out on campus and help out in the classroom. Our kids have absolutely loved their time at Parker and it's been such a special community for us. We will be devastated when our Parker days are over and we know the memories made will be cherished by our family forever. THANK YOU PARKER SCHOOL! We love you!

  • Our family has been a part of the One Fifty Parker Avenue School community since 2015 when our eldest entered the 3-year-olds' program and were lucky enough to have a second child so that we could stick around for a few more years. The teachers are incredible in their level of experience, their intense commitment to supporting the children and their enthusiasm around continued professional development. We visibly could see our children's growth in self-confidence, resiliency, independence and empathy over their preschool years, a result of the teaching staff both being responsive to their needs as children and also providing the space to allow for the children to recognize their own capabilities and knowing when to give them a little push to challenge them. The families we met at Parker are still some of our best friends; though our daughter is now heading into middle school, when she sees her old Parker buddies, it's like no time was lost, and their time together is all smiles and giggles. Preschool seems like such a quick blip on the radar in a person's lifetime, but the experience truly can set them up for success down the road. We are so grateful to Parker School and all of the incredible teachers, families and children we have been so fortunate to know during our time there.

  • Such a magical preschool! We are so lucky to have spent the past 3 years at 150 Parker. Not only is it a charming campus with amazing staff who are here to support you and your family as your little one grows, they also have their very own magic school bus. With the Little Red School Bus, children get to adventure. In their second year, kids can sign up for weekly to daily field trips and it is an experience that makes Parker truly magical.

  • We sent both of our two children to the Parker School, with one now moving on to kindergarten. The school and its teachers are kind, delightful, thoughtful, and supportive (of both parents and the kids) - kind of everything you'd want in a preschool. It's worth noting that the outdoor aspect of the program (including the Little Red School Bus, which is a unique offer among the top-tier SF preschools) has been great for helping our kids build physical skills not just social-emotional ones. Parker supported our family in navigating the kindergarten admissions process and we were thrilled with our outcomes in the K admissions process for our son. The school is small enough that it can provide very personalized support and enables us to build meaningful relationships with the families as well.
